Safety Wish List

This is our official Safety Wish List! We hope to do everything on this list - but it's only possible if many people come to support us.  The ideas come from our hearts, from research at Strider SFV Lab™, from suggestions by many of you and from looking at how predators. Most importantly, our wishes are about helping people, especially women, to be Safe-from-Violence™.

Our team has the vision and the courage to make the world safer, now we just need your support. Please read our list and see if there is a project that is worthy of your support. Once each wish is funded, we will pull a team together and commence operations. Try us and see what happens.

Wish #4:

Rescue Dogs and Make Women safe

Proposed Name: S-1 Safety Dog Program™ & S-2 Safety Dog Program™

Participation Goal: 10 dogs, 10 new owners

Concept: We have all forgotten how dogs used to keep us safe by warning us about intruders. Most people yell at their dogs for barking. Meanwhile, criminals have told us that they worry more about barking dogs than alarm systems and that gave us a great idea. There are thousands of dogs going unwanted in every city that could be trained to help with home security. There are also thousands of trainers who could train more dogs and would love to do that. We will develop the Strider Safety Dog Program™ with two initial elements:

S-1 Dogs™ will be highly-trainable dogs, such as German Shepherds, that will learn our new Dog SFV™ so they can keep a single woman or family safe.

S-2 Dogs™ will be rescues that we will work with to train for a similar program, perhaps not as demanding, but where they can still have a major impact on home and on-the-move personal safety.

The Dream: Devise a program and train the first 10 dogs. Prove it can work, then train more dogs and create a franchise system for dog trainers everywhere.

What’s needed: $35,000, 1-2 K-9 trainers or volunteers, a program manager, 10 dogs and 10 new owners!

Status: Seeking funding. Initial planning and testing has begun. Odysseus, Achilles, and Dixidrus are the test pilots.

Dates of Operation: Hoping to launch in Q3 of 2017.

Partner(s): Strider SFV Lab™, K-9 Advisors

To help us make this a reality:

    • Propose an alternative contribution here: FirstContact@StriderSafety.org

    • Ideas: dog toys, dog vests and training equipment, dog food (Nature’s Best or Purina), a building or small property to establish our first training center, etc.

Wish #5:

A “Crocodile”

Concept: An armored vehicle with special surveillance equipment to help us detect and expose rapists and human sex traffickers.

The Dream: A vehicle that we can park near or in front of criminal operations to help expose them and provide evidence to the police for use in investigations. The vehicle will be indestructible, safe for its team (including from gunfire), and able to record and shoot terabytes of data to the net in seconds. Once built out and in operation, criminals will fear the Crocodile and what it can do. It will make their work harder and riskier.

What’s needed: $250,000 for the vehicle, to be built by INKAS™ and another $250,000 for a five-year operating budget to include technology upgrades.

Status: Seeking funding.

Dates of Operation: As soon as we are funded.

Partner(s): INKAS™, plus an undisclosed Special Operations Unit is advising.

To help us make this a reality:

      • Propose an alternative contribution here: FirstContact@StriderSafety.org

      • Ideas: If you already own an armored vehicle and wish to donate, we might be able to modify it. We will add surveillance equipment, tools, tires, cameras, first aid, etc.

Wish #6:

The biggest and best survey on violence against women as well as a world-hunt for the best researchers focused on this topic.

Proposed Name: Safety-from-Violence Survey #2
Participation Goal: 20,000 women

Concept: It’s hard to get good numbers on violence and especially on the worst kind of perpetrators. For example, we have not been able to find any credible estimate of the number of serial rapists operating in the USA. If no one knows the size of the problem, how can they address it? Answer: no one is addressing it. We also want to complete the largest survey on violence-against-women that has ever been done. BJOS and the FBI spend millions annually collecting crime stats, we think a quality survey can be done for less than $200,000.

The Dream: Get the best information on violence against women including data on serial rapists and traffickers, then share this with policy makers and the public.

What’s needed: $175,000, 10,000+ women, a website and survey team, a statistician, a researcher, and a university partner.

Status: Seeking funding. We have a couple of Harvard statisticians that want to help and other volunteers ready-to-go.

Dates of Operation: As soon as we are funded.

Wish #7:

Shoot a pilot to showcase our new methods for confronting human traffickers: Human Trafficker Hunters™

Concept: We have developed a new approach to addressing the challenge of human trafficking. We plan to test our approach and film it – possibly creating a pilot for Hollywood and a way to fund future actions. Human Trafficker Hunters™ will be an exciting, dangerous, show that can change lives and raise awareness. Think of it as Dog the Bounty Hunter meets Special Operations Tactics – all focused on the nastiest people in our society, human slave traders.

The Dream: Shoot a pilot and change the world.

What’s needed: $375,000, a film production team, 3 private investigators, 3 Commandos, 2 off-duty cops, and an executive producer

Status: Seeking funding. We have private investigators, retired cops, a couple of commandos and some tough ladies who all want to join the team. Given the security issues, this project cannot be done without full funding. But we are still open for team members.

Dates of Operation: As soon as we are funded.

Wish #8:

A Strider Special Investigations Teams

Concept: We want to create and support special investigations teams of retired investigators, special operators, self-defense experts, and surveillance experts to assist in identifying and exposing both serial rapists and sex traffickers. These teams will develop new tactics that if will employ and share with law enforcement and other organizations.
The Dream: Identify every trafficker and 50% of all serial rapists operating in one city. Shine light into the dark corners where these sexual predators hide and make it hard for them to operate. Create new tactics for dealing with them. Facilitate their 'introduction' to law enforcement.
What's needed: $750,000. We also need dedicated, professional team members (size to be undisclosed).

Concept: A property where we can establish our national headquarters and make it safe for our team to do their work.

The Dream: A building(s) and property that we can make secure for office work, internet work, and to protect our vehicles and equipment. We will also rent space to Strider SFV Lab™ so it can find more and new ways to help people be Safe-from-Violence™.

What’s needed: A building and/or property where 10 people can work but temporary teams of 20-30 can be supported, with security controls (we’ll set them up) and a garage for vehicles and equipment. Alternatively, a donation so we can purchase the same, $2M-$5M.
